An overhead is an additional role or stream that is allocated for the entire duration of a phase, and whose price updates as the schedule changes
Typical use cases
Overheads are typically used to assign persistent roles (like a Project Manager) or a percentage allocation of a specialist (such as a Lead Architect or Design Director). You can can also allocate a percentage of a stream (like Support or QA).
Assign overheads
Overheads are located in Deal > Estimates > Overheads
- Assign a role or stream resource
- Allocate a percentage per resource (this percentage can be partial or multiple)
The platform will automatically calculate the days and total value based on the current phase schedule. See Schedule for more details.
