Deals

IN THIS SECTION
Deals are the core of Estii. This section covers everything you need to create, estimate, price and manage deals day-to-day.
Introduction

This article introduces the deal hierarchy and the key concepts for estimating, pricing and presenting deals
Deal management

A step-by-step guide to creating a new deal

The deal page is where you manage the content, lifecycle and output of a deal. It includes a visual summary of the overall deal value, size and activity.

Phases are sequential stages of a deal. Each phase is created from a template that defines categories and their rules.

Payment milestones describe your expected payment structure based on deliverables, due dates and price. They are visualised as a waterfall chart in exported proposals.
Estimation
Each phase contains categories of items and estimates that determine the effort and price of the phase. Categories are defined by the phase template.

Pricing
Once you have added estimates to a phase, you can adjust the final price by modifying the scope, schedule or rate card used in the phase.

Scope is the editable breakdown of price by priority, item and stream.

Schedule is the estimated duration and resourcing plan required to deliver the current scope
